Abstract:In order to reduce the influence of anchor events on the service life of submarine cables and guide the structural design, construction and layout of submarine cable protection devices, this paper studies the dynamic response characteristics of offshore wind power submarine cables under collision loads. Based on ABAQUS finite element software, a simplified numerical analysis model was established for different positions of submarine cables. Through simulation analysis, the effects of different impact heights, impact angles, impact mass, impact shapes and soil conditions on the dynamic response of submarine cables were studied, and the failure modes and dynamic response rules of submarine cables under different impact conditions were revealed. It is found that the weight of impactor is the main factor affecting the damage of submarine cable, while the impact Angle and shape have little influence on the damage of submarine cable. The research results of this paper can provide theoretical guidance for the design, construction and protection of offshore wind power cable.
