Abstract:Suction tube jacket foundation is a new type of offshore wind power foundation,in view of the marine deep-water environment, the four-bucket jacket structure is designed to adapt to the water depth of 70m. On this basis, a three-bucket jacket foundation with the same height and the inclination of the main leg is designed. ABAQUS finite element software is used to establish the overall finite element model of jacket structure-suction bucket-soil.Through the method of comparative analysis, the bearing capacity characteristics of suction bucket jackets foundation for deepwater offshore wind turbines were studied. The results show that the fitting degree of suction bucket and soil can reflect the horizontal ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation, and the comprehensive bearing capacity of the four-bucket jacket foundation is better than that of the three-bucket jacket foundation. The loading height has an important effect on the horizontal bearing capacity characteristics of four-bucket jacket foundation, and the horizontal bearing capacity decreases with the increase of loading height. The loading direction has little effect on the horizontal bearing capacity of the four-bucket jacket foundation.
