Abstract:Due to the current limitations of Tekla, the marine engineering structure modeling software, the collision verification of common components can not be recognized, the generated welds are different from the actual welds, and they need to be manually processed one by one, which is low in calculation efficiency. In response to this problem, the Tekla software is developed for the second time through the C# interface provided by Tekla software. At the same time, the Axis-Aligned Bounding Box (AABB) is improved to identify the collision calibration of the common surface construction, and the collision verification-cutting-weld integration function is realized, so as to realize the automatic generation of welds. Taken a project as an example, by applying this function, tens of thousands of welds of a single body can be created in only a few hours, which is 6 times more efficient than that of the repetitive and boring traditional Tekla manual modeling method. The collision check-cutting-weld integration function can achieve faster and more accurate construction of welds, reduce labor costs and time consumption in the construction of marine engineering structures, and is of good engineering application value and significance.
