Abstract:Due to the technical layout requirements of the offshore converter station platform, there appears many structural design problems such as large spans, conversions and staggered floors. How to reasonably choose the structural layout is the key factor in the design of the offshore converter station. According to the typical process layout scheme of the offshore converter station, combined with the basic requirements for process layout, construction installation, operation and maintenance in the scheme, the layout of the structure of the offshore converter station platform is optimized. The finite element analysis of four typical structural type schemes under the extreme environment, construction and installation, earthquake and other main working conditions is taken out. Through the comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different schemes from the perspective of technology and economy, the optimal design scheme and main structural layout suggestions are put forward.
