Abstract:In view of the marine deepwater environment, the four-bucket jacket structure is designed to adapt to the water depth of 70 m. On this basis, a three-bucket jacket foundation with the same height and the inclination of the main leg is designed. The Abaqus finite element software is used to establish the overall finite element model of the jacket structure-suction bucket-soil. Through the method of comparative analysis, the bearing capacity characteristics of the suction bucket jacket foundation for deepwater offshore wind turbines are studied. The results show that: the fitting degree of the suction bucket and soil can reflect the horizontal ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation, and the comprehensive bearing capacity of the four-bucket jacket foundation is better than that of the three-bucket jacket foundation; the loading height is of an important effect on the horizontal bearing characteristics of four-bucket jacket foundation, and the horizontal bearing capacity decreases with the increase of loading height; the loading direction is of little effect on the horizontal bearing capacity of the four-bucket jacket foundation.
