Abstract:The logarithmic sweep frequency vibration testing method for the whole machine of the subsea electronic module, which is the core component of the subsea control module, during the development process is explored. Based on the requirements of standards and inspection agencies, the purpose and significance of the whole engine test of the subsea electronic module is analyzed. Starting from the test purpose, the influence of different test-tooling on the results of the logarithmic sweep frequency vibration test is preliminarily analyzed by the natural frequency calculation formula of the undamped single-free system. On this basis, the logarithmic sweep frequency vibration tests for the whole engine of the subsea electronic module of an engineering project are carried out with two different test-tooling. The test results show that the logarithmic sweep frequency vibration test for the whole engine of the subsea electronic module is feasible under the excitation frequency and intensity specified in the standards, and the test results are more accurate when the subsea electronic module whole engine is directly fixed on the test bench for testing. The conclusion is of important reference significance for the whole engine vibration test and reliability verification of the control system on the subsea production equipment such as the subsea manifold, wet gas flow meter and so on.
