Abstract:In order to gain a deep understanding of mariculture and study the mechanical motion characteristics of the net cage under different wave loads, based on the Morison equation, the motion response mathematical model of the cage under wave action is established by the marine engineering hydrodynamic software OrcaFlex, and its hydrodynamic performance is analyzed. According to the actual size parameters of the rigid frame cage, under the conditions of wave height h=1.3 m and period (T=6, 7, 8 s), the effective tension at the connection point between the floating frame and the net, the cage volume residual ratio and the anchor rope force are calculated numerically. The results show that: the force on the connecting point between the floating frame and net clothes and the force on the anchor rope are smaller under the action of regular waves; the deformation is more serious under the action of irregular waves, which can provide less aquaculture volume than under the condition of regular waves; the force on the connecting point between the floating frame and net clothes as well as the force on the anchor rope decreases as the increase of the wave period.
