Abstract:Taken a new type three-column semi-submersible floating wind turbine platform as the research object, a fully coupled physical pool test model is established. The characteristics of wave run-up near each column of the floating wind turbine platform are studied through the pool model test. The results show that: in the linear frequency domain, when the wave period is shorter than 17 s, the wave run-up around column is not affected by the wave direction; the blade rotation and tower coupling resonance excitation have no obvious effect on wave run-up; the narrowest air gap mainly occurs at the column in the back wave direction and is affected by the asymmetric distribution of mooring lines.
