Abstract:In order to solve the problem of insufficient initial mud penetration depth of a jacket platform of South China Sea during pile driving, the alternative pile driving scheme is proposed. The alternative pile driving length is verified to avoid the interference between the pile driving sleeve and structural protective cover when the pile driving depth is 98 m. By GRLWEAP software, the feasibility of start-up and continuous pile driving is analyzed, and the accuracy of numerical simulation is verified by comparing the actual measurement results with the numerical simulation results. The results show that: when pile driving, the nearest distance between the pile and the protective cover is 236 mm, which will not affect the protective cover; the blow count is far less than the number of repelling?hammering of 900, and it is feasible to use the alternative pile driving scheme designed.
