Abstract:In order to study and obtain the general method of towing lug design and strength analysis of large-scale semi-submersible production platform, the long-distance wet towing of the deep-water semi-submersible production platform Deep Sea No.1 is used as an example, the general process of the design and analysis of wet towing lug of large-scale floating platform is introduced based on theoretical calculation and finite element analysis. The semi-submersible platform has safely arrived in the designated waters of the South China Sea, which further verifies the correctness and reliability of the design and analysis of the towing lug. A set of strength analysis and design methods for long-distance wet towing lug of large-scale deep-water semi-submersible production platform is established, and the reference and basis can be provided for the design of towing lug of similar platforms in the future.
