Abstract:As the original hitch section stinger of HYSY201 is deformed and damaged during the long-term service, China National Offshore Oil Engineering Corporation (COOEC) decides to build a new one. The structure design of the new one is simpler, more reasonable in construction, without complex nodes and convenient for machining design. The reasons for the deformation of the key axis nodes of the original hitch section in the actual pipe-laying stage are analyzed. The structural form and overall structural strength of the new and original hitch section stingers are compared. The analysis results show that the performance of the new stinger is optimized, and the overall laying capacity of HYSY201 is improved.
