The demand for abandonment of oil and gas production facilities in Bohai Oilfield is statistically analyzed.The demand for future facility abandonment shows an upward trend year by year. The method of facility abandonment and the main content of the abandonment work are introduced, and the methods, technologies and impacts of the oil and gas wells, upper blocks, jackets, submarine pipes and submarine cables used in the process of abandonment are described. The plan programming, ocean restoration and treatment principles of cleaning waste liquid, abandoned well pollution and other problems are summarized, which could provide guidance and reference for specific engineering practice.
