Abstract:Taken the foundation of the suction bucket jacket of an offshore wind power planted in the South China Sea as the analysis object, and taken the extreme working conditions of the 50-year return period as the load condition, a full three-dimensional finite element model is established considering the contact between the bucket and the soil. The installation angle and structure strength of the suction bucket jacket, foundation settlement and bearing capacity of bucket foundation are analyzed. The results show that when the relative angle between the installation direction of the foundation and the direction of wave action is 120°, the load response of the foundation is the smallest. The foundation bearing capacity and foundation strength meet the requirements. The maximum soil settlement of 0.431 m is generated during the installation of the foundation and wind turbine, so that sufficient settlement should be reserved for the foundation.
