Based on the technical characteristics of the semi-submersible lifting and disassembly platform developed by China Merchants Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., the offshore decommissioning market, seakeeping stability, lifting capacity, two-crane operation, asymmetric platform type and accommodation capacity are explained. The adaptability of the target platform as an economic lifting equipment for the offshore decommissioning operation is analyzed, which provides reference for the development of offshore platform decommissioning equipment.
