Aiming at the deepwater floating production platform, focusing on the design standards of Semi-Submersible Floating Production System (Semmi-FPS), the standard systems of ISO, API and NORSOK, as well as the advanced standards of foreign classification societies are sorted out comprehensively. Combined with the development status and engineering experience of deepwater floating production platform in China, comparative study on the national standards and industry standards are given. The existing problems in the standard system are summarized and analyzed.The suggestions for the construction of the standard system are proposed.
