Abstract:In order to solve the technical problems existing in casing wear detection methods, such as low accuracy, impossible to evaluate casing centering, poor application effect, etc., and meet the needs of casing wear well detection in Bohai oilfield, based on the pulse echo and flexure wave imaging technology, the ultrasonic Lamb wave imaging logging tool is developed, and the casing wear detection and casing centering analysis model are established. The casing surface reflection and subsequent resonance waves recorded by the vertical incidence probe are used to detect and evaluate the casing wear. The thickness of the annulus cement sheath is calculated by the difference in the propagation rate of the direct Lamb wave and two-interface echo in different media, so as to realize the analysis of the casing centering degree. The ultrasonic Lamb wave imaging logging tool is successfully applied to the casing wear detection of well X in Caofeidian oilfield, which provides a decision-making basis for the complex situation processing measures of the well and successfully guides the operation of the well. The application shows that the casing wear detection accuracy of ultrasonic Lamb wave imaging logging tool is high, which can effectively meet the needs of casing wear detection in Bohai oilfield. The instrument can also be used for casing annulus medium detection and low-density cement sheath cementing quality evaluation, which can provide decision-making basis for oil field perforation, well abandonment operation, casing treatment and other operation schemes, and is of broad application prospects.
