Abstract:Aiming at the new multi-functional modular jack-up platform structure, on the basis of weight estimation, general layout and compartment subdivision, the stability analysis of the general platform and each functional module is carried out. The method of critical height of center of gravity curve is adopted. According to the standard stability criterion, the hydrostatic model and wind load model of the hull are established. The critical height of center of gravity for the integrity and breakage stability of multi-functional general platform is studied to determine the critical height of center of gravity that the platform can provide. On this basis, the typical loading conditions are evaluated and the stability of typical loading conditions is checked. The results show that the stability margin is sufficient under the conditions of typical loading, and the stability of integrity, damage and residual satisfies the stability criterion of the platform.
