Abstract:In order to prevent the injury of the connecting pedestal induced by the deep-water semi-submersible life support platform berthing at close range and accidentally colliding with the working platform, two kinds of anti-collision protection structure schemes are designed for the base structure of semi-submersible support platform, and the numerical simulation analysis is carried out. The results show that under the typical collision conditions, the design effect of the full maintenance protection box scheme is better, and the purpose for protecting base structure is achieved. By comparing the results of structural design and calculation, the layout of the structure and the use of materials can greatly improve the energy absorption and crashworthiness of the structure. In the analysis of the anti-collision performance of the structures and facilities, the crashworthiness index and energy absorption rate are the important parameters, which can directly reflect the anti-collision and energy absorption effect of the structure.
