Abstract:Because bearing bush material of water-lubricated bearings generally adopts non-metallic materials with low elastic modulus, the bearing bush is prone to produce elastic deformation when under load. Therefore, it is very important to analyze the bearing performance of water-lubricated bearings when deformation happens. The bearing capacity of water-lubricated bearings with elastic deformation is calculated by fluid-structure coupling method of ANSYS finite element software, and compared to the case without elastic deformation. The influence ranges of bearing elastic deformation on bearing capacity under different eccentricities and speeds are specific analyzed. The results obtained through calculation and comparative analysis are not only technical references for the study of bearing performance of water-lubricated bearings, but also bases for the selection of bearing bush materials and structural design of water-lubricated bearings.
