Taking JZ20-2 jacket offshore platform in Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea as a model, the vibration reduction measures of offshore platform with prestressed cables are proposed. The finite element software ABAQUS is used to analyze the dynamic time history of offshore platform under rare ice induced load. The displacement and acceleration response of offshore platform under different ice load and prestress are compared and analyzed. The data analysis shows that the prestress is the most important factor affecting the anti vibration performance of offshore platform, and the prestressed cable can better control the offshore platform under different working conditions It has good damping effect and self reset performance.
